Are there any guidelines for beachfront accessibility?

More specfic regulations for accessibility are expected to be released in January 2008. For now the accesson.ca site has a section on the built enviornment, which seems to apply to beachfront (under the category of public spaces) According to the Canadian Standard Association Temporary buildings and facilities provided for public use should also comply with the Accessibility Standard. Such temporary facilities may include teaching spaces, reviewing stands, exhibit areas, bleachers, first-aid facilities, or pedestrian passageways around construction sites.

Is extra insurance necessary for Accessibility?

The staff at Accesson were had no knowledge of this, and there is no information about

insurance on the website so it seems as though extra insurace is not necessary.
